Obviously we believe in (e)Bikes - they change life for good!

Whatever the media present about cycling will always need to be evaluated - carefully. Cyclists often are identified as abusers of public spaces, specially eBikers. Our governments appear to support active travel like cycling and offer financial benefits so we can all benefit from their policies; tax cash back for active travel, more cyclists and more people get fitter, cycle companies can produce and place more bikes, the environment gets cleaner, traffic congestion decreases. The recent Panorama edition with Adrian Chiles places abusers of the public places with their illegal ebikes in the spotlight. We need to remember that most cyclists are law abiding citizens even though they often bear the brunt of ill-mannered drivers and inappropriate infrastructure. What we all need is a stronger enforcement of Highway Code guidance on road-use as per the January 2022 directives as well as pro-active confiscation and prohibition of illegal eBikes. Why not tackle the multinational ecom companies where these bikes are available with no questions asked delivery? Oh and what about pro-active support for businesses that try to stick to the rules so we all can use the roads in safety and with respect. We are up for it and appreciate your support when you want to move healthier, friendlier, further, and with courtesy. Thanks.
