Starting a New Year we all do from a different premise. Most people in the Cycle industry are looking at 2024 as if it never happened. They are super enthusiastic about the future: 2025 is going to be fantastic. We will all “thrive in twenty twenty-five” as the motto goes. Last week however we received a New Years greeting from a supplier acknowledging that 2024 was tough for all in the industry including they themselves. Furthermore they were super cautious about what 2025 would bring foreseeing some hazardous events to shake the industry even more. If you have followed our blogs in the past you know we like to look at the bright side of things and tend to encourage folk to look for the positives. To find the balance with a good dose of realism as well as optimism we need to keep moving, moving towards light and hope. Our hope is for a brighter future whatever shape that takes. Fr the immediate we need to remember we are on the right side of the shortest day and are looking forward to the longer and lighter days with more revitalising cycle rides. May you too find inspiration in observing what happens around you and then encourage others who are struggling in hopeless situations to look up and around too - get on a bicycle and look further. For all of us it will be surviving or thriving, whichever option however one should always keep moving. We wish you a blessed, active and healthy 2025AD.
