Clocking Back - Looking Forward!

Clocking Back - Looking Forward!

The clocks have gone back. What a phaf! Strangely enough it does not feel we have gained anything, rather it is as of we have lost an hour somewhere. Wintertime, not Summertime. The Summer is behind us and ii was a Summer judged in a variety of ways and colours. I would be wealthy if I had received a tenner for every person who complained about the dampness! In the light of the dramatic weather expressions elsewhere on the globe we have no reason to complain. Strangely enough I have never had a Summer season with so much cycling. The period has been a blessing in disguise. So with gratitude we should end the last couple of months of the year and start 2025AD with a fresh outlook. Bike industry stakeholders  look forward to a bit more stability in the market and upward perspective for the role of cycling in society. With passion back to the basics of cycling. Who knows their wishes will come through; there is a positive signal from across the Channel - the 2025 edition of the Tour de France will start in France and finish on the Champ d'Elyse, never leaving the country. In our nations we have new government and their ambitions are in favour of slow traffic options. May the ambitions become a reality. Let's hope and pray that we too in our region will find a basis for a year of positivity and stability while the clock is ticking. Forward. (Image in Schraverus Bike Totaal, Harderwijk)
